Newt graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1986 with a B. S. in Mineral Economics and a minor in Economics. Prior to real estate, he was employed in retail management, human resources, and customer service. Newt has lived in the Triangle area since 1992 and has been a resident of Chatham County since 1994. In 1993, Newt entered the field of real estate and consistently has been a top-producer. Newt believes in continuing education and has achieved the following real estate designations: CRS, Certified Residential Specialist, and GRI, Graduate of the Realtors Institute. Newt is also a member of local, state, and National Associations of Realtors.

Newt has a full-time Office Administrator and a Buyers' Agent in his office to help meet the needs of his clients. He uses traditional methods as well as the latest technology to enhance marketing strategies. He has participated in the successful promotion and. sale of many resale homes, land, new construction, and subdivisions in the area. He is consistently recognized for sales, listings, and listings sold achievements each year. Newt and his listing partner, Laura Grace, are hard-working professionals who genuinely care about the needs of their clients and their community. Both Newt and Laura regularly volunteer time and offer financial support to the community. Newt is a member of the local PTA, a school volunteer, and a youth recreation league coach. He is also very dedicated to his wife of 14 years and his two daughters.
